I have been excited to do the second part of this post on the Lambert Channel Bed & Breakfast, to show more of the thoughtful details that the owners, Manuela & Geoff, provide their guests ~ hoping that they  have a most memorable stay.

Knowing Manuela & Geoff personally and being one of their listening ears as they developed this delightful dream of theirs ~ I can tell you that your comfort, relaxation & privacy and enjoyment of the culinary experience is paramount to them.  Manuela’s enthusiasm is infectious, and it comes through in all that she does!

For another snippet of inspiration, lets go in for a closer look at more of their well thought out details….

Spring, summer, winter or fall ~ you may want to light a fire and cozy in for the evening or an afternoon or maybe even the morning for that matter! A new wood stove and basket of wood are ready for you to light…

While lounging & lingering about you may want to enjoy one of the books / magazines or local brochures that are left for your perusal ~ or you may just want to finish your own novel in the quiet while you anticipate the delivery of your gourmet breakfast.

Waiting for breakfast is made easy, as you enjoy your first cups of coffee or tea made on your own in a fully equipped kitchen that has all of the tools you may need at hand.

All this if you can bear to climb out of this cozy nook of a bedroom, from a bed that is made up with sumptuous linens ~ I think I would consider getting up and then tuck myself right back in under those covers for a while longer!

The washroom is as special as the rest of the suite ~ a shower for two, an aquamarine glass countertop with an integral sink on the vanity, gorgeous white Restoration Hardware towels that hang on a heated towel bar and even a separate room that houses the water closet & pedestal sink, along with a pale turquoise corner cabinet that is just lovely. Even though I included a couple of these photos in the previous post, I can’t help but share them again.

Other thoughtful added touches are those of local artwork, preserves from local suppliers, fresh flowers from their garden and the ability to provide breakfasts for those with special dietary requirements.

To top all of this off, a stroll down to the beach leads you to a sitting area fitted out with a propane heater for those evenings when there is a chill in the air ~ or a beach fire may be in order to enhance your waterfront experience!

Honestly, it just doesn’t get better than this! A weekend spent at this hide-a-way on Denman Island is sure to leave you wanting to return ~ returning to the kind of simple pleasures that feed our souls, pleasures whose memories sustain us through the busyness of our regular days.
