For many people these next photos will not be all that exciting, unless you are the owner of this home or you are interested in how homes can be built.
We still prefer to use plywood sheathing on the exterior walls rather than OSB board and have never used a strand board product for the sub floor, instead we recommend 3/4″ select T&G fir plywood that is glued and screwed to pre-engineered I Joists.
At this stage so many of the houses in a subdivision can look the same, it takes until the roof is on, the windows are in and the exterior finishes are being applied before the homes personality starts to develop.
From the front entry you can see right through the house to where there will be very large windows and french doors, through to the back patio & garden and then beyond to the split rail cedar fence that borders the Eaglecrest Golf Course.
In this photo you can see almost the full width at the back of the home, to the left is the master bedroom, in the center is the dining area with the kitchen set behind and on the right is the living room.
I understand that the second floor is now on and the fellas are awaiting delivery of the first trusses, so it is changing rapidly!
