This kitchen is a creative persons dream kitchen, it has SO much flexibility. With wrap around granite counters, a centre island, a peninsula with bar stools, a wet bar and a section of upper cabinets for display and less often used special pieces, it is just a start to its good attributes! The adjacent walk in pantry sports a counter for the computer and phone equipment, room for a full size second fridge, more counter space for less used small appliances and a wall of open shelving to hold every jar or container of food you could hope to have available. The stainless appliances are just gorgeous – a cook’s dream!
With the layout being of the open plan variety that is so popular today – when you are working or entertaining in the kitchen you can readily see the big screen TV in the great room, hear and be a part of your guests conversations at the dining table or pop into the pantry to check on the recipe you just found through Google!
Preparing cocktails or pouring wine is enhanced when there is lots of room and an extra sink in an area specifically built for this purpose. Unfortunately I didn’t get a photo of this side of the kitchen (where the fridge is as well – handy for the ice!) – what was I thinking???
