Todsen Design and Construction celebrates over 40 years of designing and building custom homes within our coastal Vancouver Island location of Qualicum Beach and its surrounding areas.
Our company is recognized for designing and building homes that have their own distinctive styles and superior workmanship, workmanship that continues to exceed our client’s expectations. A thread that connects our projects from the planning stages through to their completions is the exceptional level of integrity and expertise that we expect from all involved to create the homes our clients will build their lives in.
We are proud to include, as a part of our team, many of the area’s finest and most reputable tradespersons and suppliers. Our homeowners have direct access to our entire team and are an integral part of the communication chain ~ should they wish to be.
Working on custom home projects that include architects and interior designers is always of interest to us, the enhanced collaborative effort is most welcome.
Todsen Design and Construction Ltd. is a Licensed Residential Builder in good standing under the Homeowner Protection Office of British Columbia and joins with Travelers Guarantee of Canada in backing our homes with a comprehensive 2-5-10 warranty program.

We have always believed that regardless of budget, all homes should be designed to be attractive & functional and be solidly built. We continually strive to create homes with our clients that best reflect the qualities of their building site and the individual aspects of their lifestyle ~ knowing that a custom home is a collaborative endeavour between our clients and ourselves. We believe that listening carefully throughout our discussions with our clients is of utmost importance, recognizing that each family’s idea of “home” is unique and that living requirements are often very specific.
